Wall profile with sloped ceiling

How do I edit the profile of this wall whilst keeping it attached to the sloped ceiling?

When you edit the profile of a wall that has an attachment, Revit will give a warning that it will remove the attachment to allow you to edit the profile. It will then re-apply the attachment once your finished editing the profile if possible. Can you give us some more information about what you're trying to achieve? More images or even post a file with the wall and ceiling?

I can't tell exactly looking at your picture, but you can attach a wall to more than one ceiling.

Here is an external shot. I want to extend the wall outlined in red to include the area outlined in green. Editing the profile of the wall detaches the wall from the pitched roof

Model a short wall filling the width of the gap, attach top to the upper roof, attach base to the lower roof, then join it with the existing wall.

Modify it like I've shown below. You can ignore the warning Revit throws up about removing the attachment, if you keep the original top profile line, the wall will still attach to the roof when you finish editing the profile.
