Wall Opening at Embedded Storefront

The wall highlighted in yellow below extends below the floor slab. The top of the wall at the opening is visible (see the 2 red arrows) when a storefront door is embedded into this wall. Is there a way to adjust the embed opening so that the floor slab flows on thru without the lines?

Here are 2 ways I would approach this.

1) Create a floor and sketch around the opening. That would only hide the interior line but when you add the stoop, the exterior line would show anyways.

2) Use Linework command and select <invisible lines> for your linetype. Then select the two line in question.

#2 option is not the way I would model it but it will get you the look you are looking for.

Thanks! I was trying to avoid having to do the invisible line thing, but you confirmed its need for me. I will also try editing the floor plan profile as you suggest. This door for some reason is blocking my path of travel lines.

Hi @PhilvK

On the the ribbon >> Modify >> Join Geometry of the Wall and the Slab... (Might need to reverse Join order)

DR.RD - That worked perfectly! Thanks. It also solved my path of travel blockage.
