What is the best way to get a wall plasterboard lining to finish at the plasterboard ceiling line?
Compound wall - Does not allow plasterboard to be trimmed at ceiling line unless you use the cut profile tool. This solves the problem visually, but will create inaccurate quantities for takeoff.
Create plasterboard as a separate wall over the framing, then attach to the ceiling line. This is still inaccurate as the lining continues to the top of the ceiling plasterboard. Whereas the required practice here is for the wall lining to come up to the underside of the ceiling lining.
Keen for any other ideas.

Unlock the wall plaster layer from the wall structural layer, and then you can adjust the top of the plaster independent of the top of the wall itself.
It's a little tricky to accomplish. After Steps 1 and 2 above, hover over the top boundary of the plaster layer until it highlights, then click on it and a blue lock icon will appear. Hover over the lock until it turns yellow, then click on it to unlock the layer.
In use, it looks like this:
This works on level adjustment lines, only, not slopes or arcs.
