Hello all,
Below you will find a window that I did. When I load the window into the project the line of the wall display above the fixe part of the window (see image).
In the window family I have created a detail Iteam in order to have the projection lines of the window (I think that it causes the problem).
I have created also a detail Item in Left/ Right View but it don't cause any probelm (Image 3)
What can I do?
Thank you in advance!
Use a masking region.
...do I understand correctly? You want the jamb detail not obscured by the wall; right? If so, a Masking Region behind the detail would hide the wall.
Yes,
I used a Masking Region, but with the option 'Draw in Foreground' turn on, as I want the two projection lines to be visible in my family. So, in the sketch of masking region I have two horizontal projection lines and two vertical invisible lines (Image 3).
I want the result of Image 2 as concern the wall line (upper line that is indicated) and the result of image 1 as concern the projection line of the masking region.
I don't know how can I control the Masking Region in order to have this result or if I can use just a projection line in the interior side of window.
Can anyone tell me how i can hide the wall line that appears under the window sill in revit projects
Hard to say without you uploading the window family for us to examen, but I suspect that the 3d elements of the window are masked in plan/RCP views and there is only 2D linework in the plan view of the window family.
By adding a masking region in the plan view of the family, this should hide the 3D lines of the wall opening in the project.
Hope this helps,
-luc
