Wall layer offset in 3D view not displaying

In the 3D realistic visual style image below, the wall siding layer has been extended by the base offset property, but the extended wall siding pattern does not display. In the elevation view and in shaded visual style, the pattern displays properly. Anyone have a solution?

How are the battens placed on the wall? Are they sweeps?  BTW: I'm not seeing any battens in your second screenshot. Looks like 2D linework representing  the battens in that View.

...if those are wall sweeps, you just need to stretch your battens down.

Barthbradley,
The battens in the 3D view are based on a jpg roughness image set in the appearance tab of the materials browser. The lines representing the battens in the elevation are the surface foreground pattern set in the graphics tab of the materials browser. To use vertical sweeps, would I have to insert them individually or as an array, or can it be configured in the wall structure?

Create the battens using Vertical Wall Sweeps.  Place one Wall Sweep and Array it. That's pretty much all there is to it.

Paint the exterior wall surface with the same material assigned to the layer, see if it helps.

...or just assign the Wall Material to the Sweep Material.
