Wall layer line in plan view disappears after join walls

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone else has this.

I have a compound wall made up of 2 walls, and I join them for the window cut-outs.

When I join them I loose the plan layer line where the 2 walls meet.

Change the layer priority by setting the wall 2 layer to a lower priority. If they are both same priority, change the material, so the line appears at the join.

Sounds like you are saying that you DO NOT want to remove the linework between the joined walls layers. If this is correct, then DO NOT join them.  Join Geometry will always remove linework at the union of similar materials.

If you need the Walls joined at the Window in order for the Opening to penetrate through all, then Split the Walls at and Window and join just those Walls or use a Wall Opening to create the Window Opening.
