Wall Invisible in Plan View

I am drawing a wall in plan view and found this problem:

It may be out of the view range. Switch to a 3D view, select the wall and show its properties here.

What about the view range of the first floor plan?  Check the view range bottom and view depth and make sure they are not below the associated level.
