Wall in linked model hides tread numbers

Hello hello,

Here's a strange one for you all;

We've noticed that when placing tread numbers using the tread numbering tool, that a wall in the same linked model hides the numbers.

Strangely, it only happens in some places.

With the walls in the linked model selected, one sees the tread numbers:

When the walls in the linked models aren't selected, the tread numbers are hidden, although the stairs we're annotating are cut in the section view and therefore in front of the walls in question:

Any ideas?

Many thanks.

I was able to find the cause of the problem but no solution. I've started a new forum post here;

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-architecture-forum/tread-numbers-disappear-when-section-segment...

Long-story-short: when the section is split using "split segment" the tread numbers disappear, although said splitting of the section doesn't affect the stair geometry.

Why did you start a new thread?  I responded to your other thread.  I told you I was unable to replicate in my testing on 2020 and asked you to post your file for testing.

I started a new thread because the problem I've discovered has nothig to do with the title "Wall in linked model hides tread numbers"

I will reply to you on the new thread, which describes how the problem has arisen.
