Is there anyone out there that can help me figure out why my exterior walls are displaying differently? Wall 'A' is how i need wall 'B' to show. I have tried to overide graphics in view with no luck. Please help.
The answer is right there in front of you on the picture you shared!
That dashed green box? Yes, that is a plan region, and it's changing the view range over that wall to make it show in projection instead of being cut.
Test it and let me know!
No luck, I have changed the view range up and down but there has been no change. Does this mean that i will have to delete the plan region?
Deleting my plan region does not change the wall. Wall 'B' is roughly 16'-0" tall and wall 'A' is 13'-0"
Would "match properties" work? I mean just for testing?
Are the two walls of two different types?
Two different phases?
Two different worksets?
Is there a filter in this view targeting one wall and not the other?
Is one structural and the other isn't?
In the workset dialog, Is the check box for "gray inactive" checked?
Does this wall have a graphic override by element? if you cut it then paste back into same place, will it work?
Try Linework, by Category..
Someone might have changed the linework manually to other colour..
One way to test any view if its not showing correctly is to duplicate, it and check..
if the problem persist, then apply some "View Template" to refresh all the overides
and check the problem..
Chers
match properties does not allow me to match wall 'B' to wall "A'
Are the two walls of two different types? NO
Two different phases? NO
Two different worksets? NO
Is there a filter in this view targeting one wall and not the other? NO
Is one structural and the other isn't? ALL STRUCTURAL
that is a sheet metal wall.
so i made a duplicate and magically the walls show perfectly! why is that and how do i correct it?

Just Cut and Paste in place then.
Here is how you apply and remove an override:

i am a little embarrassed, but i have to be honest. i did exactly what the video instructed (by the way i really appreciate that you took the time to record it) and the colour is still grey.

Same situation, a wall disappeared, I put back a new instance of that wall and the paint colors is no longer there. I tried match properties to another instance of that same wall in the project and that just changes the size of the wall, which is not good, and the paint color still does not show or match.
