Wall chamfer along sloped floor

Wall chamfer along sloped floor

Hello everybody,

I am trying to create a sweep along my sloped floor as shown in the pictures, but I am unable to set my profile in the right plane, my floor has different slops in each way. Any ideas? I have tried creating a railing family in to host it but with same result, also a component  model in situ (sweep), a concrete beam, generic family or whatever you can imagine, but nothing. I think my approach is not right and I have missed the point. Maybe creating a family with a void ran by parameters. I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Just create an in-place family. You can also try with an adaptive component.

You can draw it using a Sweep Blend.

Is your wall sill plate actually anchored to the top of that sloping floor slab?

Just curious Smiley Wink

Hi

You need something which can host on the floor and profile on plan..

checkout if " Railing " can help with custom profile..

floor edge wont work but railing might..

Best luck.

I have a little different take on it.  Maybe I'm just crazy nuts.

...It's definitely a cant...as in: can't be built.

Did the Archicad forum make you less creative?

Buy them.

I think we're talking two different things here. I'm talking construction. There's no way walls will anchored to the top of a sloping slab the way the OP is showing it in his screenshot.  Even if it's a parapet.

Parapets, no. But equipment curbs, planter walls can be built above the roof.

Curb? Planter wall?  Really, @ToanDN; that's how you see it?  Or are you just messing with me again?

That's it! I'm outta here. I'm headed back to the Archicad forum.  Smiley Wink
