I'm having a really particular issue with my outside wall corners and I noticed it's happening with the new drawing template I created.
When I start creating walls all the corners join smoothly and wrap around like normal with the wall corner configuration set to "Butt", the issue is that after I start working on other parts of my project, I then notice that all my outside corner connections terminate to the outside or face of the finish on the perpendicular wall (see attached). Core boundaries don't connect and neither do finishes and I can't figure out what in the world is happening.
Whenever I change the configuration to "Miter" it works just fine but there are some instances where it gets screwed up with a wall above that needs to be butt together. Also, I don't really want to have to go through my entire project changing all exterior corners to miter.
Has anyone encountered this before or have any ideas as to why this is happening? Let me know if you need to see more settings info or something.
@barthbradley It is indeed and I have changed it to Clean Join but nothing changes.
I just tried to go ahead and cycle through Butt configurations and it actually then affected the inside corner as shown in the attached.
I went ahead and changed it to "Square Off" and it cleaned it right up BUT is there a setting I can adjust so Square Off applies to all walls automatically? Having to do it to each corner is time-consuming and doesn't necessarily solve my issue, especially if it's a weird setting that's in my project template.
Use the TAB key to select multiple corners.
BTW: Butt and Square Off would do exactly the same thing at a 90-degree corner.
