Hi Guys,

Is it possible to create this kind of TAG? The thing is, I have to change the brace element and his length manually

Any tip?

Are you tagging a Wall or something else?

Just Wall

I am linking the Architectural drawing to mine (Structural) and then I have to show that, but I am not allowed to change anything in the Architectural drawing (That's why I'm looking for something editable)

I would create a Generic Annotation symbol family with 2 labels as you show them.  The top label can be a Type parameter, the bottom label is for you to manually enter the value when place it in project views.  If you need a schedule, use Note block and select the symbol family.

Don't know if I'm following you. A tag can pull any information from the wall that you want - be it an instance or a type value. Sounds like you want a tag to pull a instance parameter value. You could use the OOTB "Comments" parameter and tag to pull that value, which, of course, you'd have to enter for each wall. However, if these are all unique Wall Types, tagging wouldn't require any user input; the tag would just pull each wall's unique designation (e.g. via a Type parameter value).

Huh? How did you determine that from what he wrote, @ToanDN? Kind of makes sense of the question, though. Still...?

Oh he has a duplicated thread with the exact subject line.  I thought this was it.

I actually did something wrong, because if I change something in the "Bracing Family" it will change in all the other around the project.

I really dont know how to use this XD

Bracing Length should be an instance parameter, not type.

And create different types per your table.  Each type shall have an unique Bracing type, but the Bracing Length varies.

Amazing!!!

Thank you so much.

One more question, how can I load annotation symbols? Right now I'm opening the family and clicking in "Load into Project"

Open the folder and drag the family onto you project view. Or, go to Insert menu, Load family, and browse to the family location. Or, do what you did.
