Hello Miss Viveka Devadas
Hi Miss Viveka, Good day. apologies for disturbing. I need help, I am using Revit 2018 student version 18.0.0.420_20170223_1515(x64). I am making a Revit walkthrough of a huge kitchen building project and since it looks so heavy I then decided to create a separate new simple project of a 3m by 3m simple room kitchen and a simple topo surface to try and test the walkthrough render if it work.
before I thought if my pc went wrong but the mouse crosshair works, I am using a WhatsApp app in the desktop it also works even browser. but when creating a walkthrough video both the main huge kitchen project before and now the simple 3m x 3m kitchen room in hidden mode, wireframe and in realistic mode – I get zero byte .avi file of the walkthrough
tested walkthrough in Hidden mode / shaded mode / realistic mode and render mode
3 tL frames sample: 1 frame per second, – a 3m x 3m simple room project
10 tL frames sample: 1 frame per second, – a 3m x 3m simple room project
100 tL frames sample: 1 frame per second, – huge kitchen project
300 tL frames sample: 1 frame per second, – huge kitchen project
300 tL frames sample: 15 frames per second, – huge kitchen project
300 tL frames sample: 30 frames per second, – huge kitchen project
600 tL frames sample: 30 frames per second, – huge kitchen project
1000 tL frames sample: 30 frames per second – huge kitchen project
All trial and error in hidden line mode, wireframe mode, shaded mode, realistic mode and rendering mode – outcome is zero “avi file” and revit becomes frozen / stagnant. Can’t even exit in the x button upper right corner. I even tested 1 frame per second for just 3 seconds and after the video walkthrough is done in hidden line mode, I can’t touch the Revit software, I can’t even close it and I have to use task manager if I want to close it
PC specs: OS windows 10 pro 64 bit
Processor: Intel Corei7 – 4790 cpu @ 3.60 ghz, 3601 mhz, 4 cores, 8 l;ogical processor
Ram: 16gig (16384mb)
Board : asus
Direct x 12
Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750Ti
Display: dual monitor 1920 x 1080 (30 bit – 60 ghz)
Display Memory: 10179mb
I also read the forum about using the setting of NVIDIA Control panel, please kindly need tips / advice / help.
I now installed the Revit 2017 and still I can’t create a walkthrough even just 3 seconds and 1 frame (image) per second. The Revit software froze and I can still open Microsoft word task manager and WhatsApp etc., the only thing froze is Revit. Also in the Nvidia settings - I can’t see openGL rendering setting you said one of your forum
sincerely
