I have been breaking my head trying to find out how buildingbook calculates inner and outer reveals of window inserts.
I have two questions:
1 does anyone know how it is calculated
2 is there an possibility to create your own standards since International standard does not give to possibility to ignore / not ignore openings
thanks,
Jan

1. Does your question is about how wall finishes area calculated inside and outside windows? If so, Revit ignores it even if you check wraps ![]()
2. Revit doesn´t calculate the materials and wall where doors and windows or openings are placed. To consider that in your schedules you ll have to do it outside. You could calculate these openings separately and add them to the wall schedule on excel, orçafasico, sienge or any software you use. You also could use RoomBook plugin to calculate them based on room perimeter and areas.
