Hi,
I have a full set model for a project.
They created many 3d models.
I need to thing the orientation for some and modify the visual style,
all the option are gray and can not do any thing.
I searched and found some comment to work on view templates, I could not understand it
could any one help me in details, step by step or with pictures how I can modify them to be visualized?
Thank you
Note: make your language easy, I am a Revit beginner.

Hi @Anonymous
Welcome to the Autodesk community!
Do you wan to rotate the model to true north or do you wan to modify a camera view?
1.To rotate a model to true north follow the steps listed at this link. Click HERE
2.To rotate a camera view - see the link HERE
Since the options are grayed out, change settings on the View template directly and this will affect all the views controlled by this view template.
Click View tab
Graphics panel
View Templates drop-down
Manage View Templates.
Change your view template to <none> from properties palette. You can later modify the appearance using visibility/graphics overrides.
3.You can control the display of the model with a visual style.
To save a 3D view with an applied visual style
Follow the steps below:
SteeringWheels display in the drawing area.
Windows panel
User Interface drop-down
Navigation Bar.The new view appears in the Project Browser under 3D Views.
To apply a visual style to multiple views
In the view template, for Model Display, click Edit. On the Graphic Display Options dialog, select the desired visual style, and define other options as desired.
When selecting fields, include View Name, Type, and View Template.
Click HERE to access a screen-cast to show visual styles in Revit 2015
Let me know if you are able to work on your model and don't hesitate to ask any questions.

If you are locked out of a view's Visual Style and View Detail settings, then that view has a View Template that controls those settings.
Many thanks Viv,
when I tried to rotate the plan I could not find the site plan. they are all levels. what if I want to take a new 3d view and I don/t have the site sheet., that means the set I have received is not complete?
