Hi,
Yesterday i have been working on a tag to display fire rating properties of walls.
I found the methods on this forum where you use the labels with symbols and colors. It has helped me to create a decent tag.
However, I am still not satisfied. Is it still the case that you can't create visibility settings that read the yes/no parameters in the wall type properties?
I also miss the ability to add a flip control element, so that i can change the direction of fire proofing for example.
Would somebody be able to help me?
Thanks!

You can use a Yes/No shared parameter of a wall to drive the value of a label of the tag, so it can say "something" if yes, "something else" or even "nothing" if No, for an instance.

Not following.

This seems only to be true when setting the visibility of a label, is that correct? I have a wall partition tag that I want to read a wall type mark and also change it's graphic representation based on fire or acoustic rating. I've created a shared parameter for the wall type graphics and then created visibility parameters in the tag based on an if/then-yes/no equation. However when applying the graphic information to my wall type via the shared parameter, my tag is not changing. Has anyone been able to figure out how to accomplish this?

That is correct. Parameters in the host only drive the value labels in the tag.
Hi, @Anonymous i'm struggling with the same problem like you described here. It seems to be impossible to control a yes/no parameter (in the tag family) with the corresponding system family in a project.
Or did you find a solution in the mean time?
