Is it possible to display a wall on the floor plan, the base of which is above the cut plane, but of course, in the range of visibility upwards? Such wall should be marked as dash-dot line, which represent element above cut plane on the same level.
You have a few options. You can:
Draw a plan region that has a different view-range to the main view.
Set an underlay to the view - which is the view above. Note that you can use linework to show the overhead lines that will adjust if the view is changed. You then no longer need to have the underlay. The line style will be determined by 'Overhead'.
The manual ways mentioned above are all valid and many use them. Other possible solutions may apply depending on how you are modeling those overhead elements
Alternatively … you could also overlay views on sheets
