Hi forum,
I have a residential tower model with typical apartment typologies (01 bedroom type A, 01 bedroom type B, 02 bedroom type A, 02 bedroom type B..etc.).
These typical apartments are each a Revit model and linked to the host tower model and copied/mirrored multiple times into locations on various levels to make up the whole tower.
Some typical apartments are exactly the same except for a single wall that is present in one type and not present in the other (i.e. 01 Bedroom Type A.1, 01 Bedroom Type A.2).
Is there a way to give this single wall a visibility parameter in the apartment model that I can switch it off or on in the host tower model when linked per instance of that link? So I use one typical model (01 Bedroom Type A) instead of two (01 Bedroom Type A.1, 01 Bedroom Type A.2)?
Any workaround that can solve this?
Thanks in advance,

Depends. Maybe there is a Rule-Based Filter you could use. I'd need to examine the Files to know for sure. In the meantime, going into the Views' VGOs and setting the Revit Link(s) to "Custom" and checking "Show Model Categories in View" should allow you to select the Link Wall(s) and Hide in View by Element. I imagine you're already doing that.
I have a Tower 01 host model T1ZZ, that is made up from apartment types links (Type A1, A2, A3, A1b, A1c..etc.):
For example, I have apartment model (Type A1c) below, where it has the highlighted wall and casework:
While in (Type A1b) this wall and casework don't exist, so instead of having two apartment types (A1b & A1c) is there a visibility parameter or similar workflow where I can have one apartment type link (Type A1) instead of two where I can switch on / off the wall and casework where needed inside my host Tower 01 model?
Appreciate your thoughts on this, thanks!
