I was just wondering if is there any way to make a view title/viewport family look like the ones in the image below? I kind of prefer the views in my sheets setup this way. The stock/built-in view title/viewport is the standard circle with text and line and It can get very messy when you have a lot of views in a sheet. I tried making it to look like the ones in the image below but I can't make the borders snap to anything when loaded into a sheet in a project.
Unfortunately, the View Title does not snap to anything else but Other previously placed View Titles. IE: You have to eyeball the first and then snap align the rest to the Vertical and Horizontal axes of the first. I do not believe that there is any other option when using the system's view title family. Otherwise, the alternative would be to model dummy view titles with parameters that are filled manually (Those you can snap to other lines but then it is more work for you to fill unless you use Dynamo)

Create the view title family with just label. Create another generic annotations family with the boxes. Place the boxes family on sheets then drag the viewport title to match
I never understood why they made the viewport/view title family behave like this. Seems backward if you ask me.
Anyways, yeah it seems like you have to make a custom annotation for the borders and make a custom view title then load them altogether in the project and "eyeball" the custom view title to fit into the borders. A lot of additional work but I guess you don't really have choice.
I have decided to make a title block family to serve as view borders for my views but now I have a new problem, I can't seem to find a way to adjust or move the position of the "scale label" in the view title family. I've seen a post on a possible workaround where in you group a line and the "scale label" then set a length parameter to the line. However this is very time consuming since you have to make several family types that's fit with the view title border. Have any of you found a way around this?
Add a ref line next to the scale label, create a group fom the label and the ref line, place a dimension from the origin ref plane to the ref line and assign an instance dimension parameter to it. When place in project you can change that parameter value to move the scale label.
I personally am not a fan of having the scale label on the far right if the view title. I want all the necessary information from a quick glance without looking left then looking right every single time.
I tried it but the parameter is nowhere to be seen when loaded in the project.
