Viewport shape handle - too long?

Not the most exciting question: how do I make this viewport shape handle the appropriate size for the sheet? I placed a view as 1:20 then changed the scale to 1:10 in properties. Now.. can't make my line fit. Thanks

i activated the shape handle control point by cycling through viewport / view modes.

Select the viewport then the view title line grip will show.
