View Title

I was trying to not show some info on a title block on one view.

I apparently made the change globally.

Now I cant seem to be able to find a way to get the title view back.

I tried VG, but cant find anything.

I tried my browser, but can't active anything to get it back.

Can someone help?

Thanks you!

hey @glkirk

Can you tell more on what happened? What changes you made? deleted it ?

and What do you mean by "cant seem to be able to get title view back"?  Are we talking about "The Viewport" or Just the viewport's Title (the one below the viewport on sheet) . If it is the latter, could it be that you have swtiched the viewport to a type with no title?

I think there was a Yes or No question.

Yes, you have shown the dialog box, that I could work from by editing the Viewport title and line.

But neither the line or the title are showing anymore.

Is there a way to get back to that dialog box?

Sure there is... First check if the family is still in the model. It is under Annotations and should be called "View Title" (the M_ in image below is just for metric)...If the family is not there, you will need to reload it first from the library then do the following:

  1. Select the viewport on a sheet (any)
  2. edit its type
  3. duplicate/add the missing ones
  4. Assign the View Title Family and check the extension line
  5. Duplicate again and do one with just the view title and no line

So, there is no line or viewport to click on.

This is in my browser. No matter what I do to anything (Right click, left click, double click) only this window comes up.

You need to select the VIEWPORT on the sheet >>> then on the Properties Panel Edit Type. There you will find the otion you need to edit. See GIF below

view title.gif

Otherwise, you can try transfer project standard from a working project (select only Viewport Types from the list)

You mean no visible viewport border.  Just hover your cursor over any click on any view on a sheet until you see a blue box appears, then click it.
