View title right justified

Hello, I am working with an architecture firm that uses a right-justified view title. I've attached a screen shot of it. I am encouraging them to transition to Revit. The help articles I've found only show how to make a left-justified title, where the long line extends from the text to the right. Is it possible to have the line extend to the left? Thanks! '

Re-position & re-justify the label in the View Title Family, and then drag the line to the left after the Viewport is placed on the Sheet.

...or, introduce your client to the left-to-right reading convention.  Smiley Wink

in Family editor:

use Mirror and select the Vertical Reference Plane, unchecking Copy

the Text is now right side located

Yes, modify the label in the family, but you still have to drag the line to the left on placement though; right @constantin.stroescu?

There is no simple way to do what you want. There are some options to accomplish it.

One way is to edit the view title and make it right justified. When placing the view the bubble will be on the right and the extension line going to the right. Move the title to the right of the view and drag the extension line to the left.

However seems to be a lot of work. And when making the transition you will have to make/accept more changes anyway, so personlally would notbother with this

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Constantin and others, Thank you all so much. I've created my custom view title, given it a unique name and loaded the rfa file into my project. The new name shows up in the Families > Annotations > View Titles list of the project browser, but it does not show up on the list of view titles in Properties when I try to apply it to a view. Can you help? Thanks

Can you share your view title family Mark? I am working for a firm that insists on having view titles on the bottom right (so contractors rolling back the pages dont obscure the titles) and Im having issues with the extension line going through the detail number when dragged to the left ( im sure a masking region could be added) but was wondering if you came up with a better solution/family. Thank you
