View Range Visual

The View Range is a great tool but I often have problems knowing where to set the cut planes or where to start and end to see what I want to see, especially if what I want to see is not appearing. What would be great is if we could cut a section and see what the View Range is encompassing, then be able to adjust it live. For instance, it would be helpful if the specified View Range was highlighted in a section.

Also, the pyRevit plugin has a tool that shows you your actual view range in a 3D view. It's not the same that you are looking for, but 🤷‍♂️

If you want a portion to use view range you can use plan region and set the view in a certain area to be different from others ... check the attached photo
