Hi forum,
All our views placed on sheets have view templates applied where we also include the view range.
this is a snapshot from the View tamplates dialog
this is a snapshot from a view where the system is working.
this snapshot is taken in the view that doe snot work. The level of this view is "00_E0_RDOK" so i have no idea why Revit takes the Level "-2" ( to donwn) as level above.
It is even mor strange that it is only one view where this is happening.
Is there a property i do not know about where i can tell each view which is the level obove??
For now we solved the problem by duplicating the view Template, did not include the view range, apply it to this view and set the view range manualy.
it solves the problem but it is not really satisfying concerning automation.
thanks a lot in advance
Go to a section, select the level in question and look at its properties see if the level above is assigned correctly.
Hi @ToanDN,
THanks for the answer. Unfortunately everything is setup the same.
these are the levels that are setup as "Building storey"
these are the levels that are setup as not "Building storey".
When i select a level and open the "Level Above" Dropdown i only have access to the building storeys which makes sense.
In the View Range Dialog of the structural plan i can select every level ( actually only those for which a floor plan view has been created - but that's an other story)
