We had a strange issue where floors outside the view range (or so we thought) were showing in a floor plan. Someone opened the view template and checked the View depth and it was set to -1'-0" so we could not figure out why a slab 3'-7" below the level was still showing. After searching for plan regions and other issues we figured we would reset the range and see what happened.
After opeing the template and VR we discovered the the bottom was set to -5'-0" while the depth was set to -1'-0" This should not be possible correct? Revit errors when I do this live in a view (see attached) but lets someone do this in a template? Seems strange. Must be some reason for it, but this is the first time i have encountered that.
Floors within 4'-0" of the View Depth still show in a floor plan view. Yours is only 3'-7" so you see it.
I tried the same setting in both template and manual, same result (no error in template...)
Interesting.
