I know that this has been addressed before but apparently I am missing the point. I presently am using Revit LT 2021 and can see imported images in an elevation view but not any 3D view. What do I need to do?

Image is view dependent. If you want to show the image in 3d, you can set the background and set it to image

Your image will show your background.

What exactly do you mean by imported images and which format?  How did you apply those images?

You should be able to display images in the 3D views

  1. Either by using Decal (However, I am not sure though if Decals are available in LT)
  2. OR apply/add the images to the Material

Is the Visual Styles in the 3D view set to Realistic   ?

I was able to put the image on my camera view so now I need to figure out how to place it on a store front sign.

Place Decal tool to place the image on the sign.  Do it in a 3D ortho or an elevation view.

You may want to use Decal as @RDAOU mentioned.

1. Click on insert>DECAL

2. Create new Decal

3. specify your image

4. Place the decal on the object surface

5. Switch to realistic to make the image show

Unfortunately, LT does not have Decal. What I did was created a new material
using the PNG file that I had for their sign and applied it to what I
created. Thank you for your help.

Thank you all for your suggestions and if I had the full version of Revit I would be able to do most of what was said. I was able to bring it in by using the creating a new material and bring the image that way onto the sign. At least all of you got me thinking.
