We would like to show all existing walls as solid gray but still have the fire rating cut pattern on fire rated walls. So, I applied a view filter to rated walls that shows the 1 hr/2 hr/etc. cut patterns. However, we need the new fire rated walls to show the blue/red/etc. fire rating pattern that we typically use instead of the solid black that is used when overriding the cut pattern. I assume there is still no way to filter by phase created so is there a way to do this without creating separate wall types/materials for new and existing or manually overriding individual walls? The wall circled in blue below is new but I need it to show in color.

Sure. Create a filter for each fire rating and assign different colors to them.

The circled walls below are existing. Is there a way to have the existing phase cut pattern or material drive the color of the fire rating? I'm just trying to show the existing fire walls shaded and the new with color and still have the existing walls solid gray.

What about making another filter setting for "existing 1hr" and shading that grey. same with the other ratings.

so when you select that wall that's existing
