I have a new 2016 MacBook Pro and am using BootCamp (Windows 10 Pro) to use Revit 2016. The MacBook Pro has an AMD Radeon Pro 460 graphics Card. When I bring up Revit, all the graphics (icons) are not displaying and I get flickering in certain parts of the UI (screen) and sometimes slow performance.
When, I go into Revit's Options/Display settings, I get the following message: "The installed video card 'AMD Radeon Pro 460' has not been tested with Revit. You may continue to use Hardware Acceleration. If you experience graphics display issues, you should: - Turn off Hardware Acceleration." I've turned off the Hardware Acceleration and have tweaked the System Display resolution and text/app % back and forth but, still the same issue.
Does Revit 2016 Support AMD Radeon graphics card and if so which drivers or versions? Thanks!
hi @Anonymous,
Your question is difficult, as the issue might come from your Video Card, or from the emulation of a windows OS...
Safest would be just to deactivate 3D acceleration (Revit > Options > Graphics > untick "use Hardware acceleration")

Hi I did deactivate the Hardware acceleration and change the app/text from 200% to 150%. As well, I've changed the screen resolution down as well from the default for the MacBook Pro 15in. Still the same problem.
I changed to scaling down to 150% from the default of 200%. I can't recall the resolution and I'm on my work laptop now but, will check and put here later.
I had to turn off the retina display and change the scale on my current Macbookpro to stop the graphics from blinking. It worked. I am thinking at getting the new MacbookPro but want to know if the Radeon card will be a problem. Sounds like I need more info. Let me know if that works.
