Vertical Fluted Wall Cladding

I'm modelling up a large office building, and there is a request for large vertical fluted stone cladding panels to the external facade, similar to the below image.

Opinions aside (🤢), how would you go about modelling this?

My initial approach is a regular flat wall, and then creating an array family that cuts the fluted voids, hosting that family to the wall face and stretching it across the elevation. However I'd prefer a one-stop solution if possible.

Create a family for the panels with the desired geometry.

Create a curtain wall, remove all the mulions and apply the family you created for the panels.
