Hi !

I have just installed V-ray for Revit 2017, the trial version . When I run render RT  the following error appears everytime :

[Error] V-Ray: Error loading plugin library "C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\V-Ray for Revit\libraries\vrayappsdk\bin\rt_cuda.dll": LoadLibrary failed (126): Nie można odnaleźć określonego modułu.

In the Warning window I find the folllwing warning : [Warning] V-Ray: Failed to load CUDA renderer plugin from "C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\V-Ray for Revit\libraries/vrayappsdk/bin/rt_cuda.dll" [Warning] V-Ray: Failed to create CUDA renderer plugin instance.

I dont even know how this affect my render because I am new to V-ray but I guess it might be a major problem. I reinstalled the program but the message still appeares. Have no clue what to do now 😞

Kindly asking for help !

Hello from Spain.

I have not vray, and I`m not familiarized with this software, but this seems to be an issue with your graphics subsytem (usually this kind of software needs a powerfull graphics unit)

Maybe this DLL needs to detect an Nvidia graphics card, because CUDA cores are a feature of Nvidia. Check your Vray configuration, probably it is set-up  to run with an Nvidia card.

Maybe during installation and set-up of vray you should specify what kind of hardware have you.

Maybe you have a computer with dual graphics (usually one is integrated in the Intel CPU, and other is a discrete graphics subsystem, typically Nvida or AMD). In this case you should "activate" the discrete graphics to be used with Vray better than integrated graphics (less powerfull and less suitable for vray). With Nvidia cards, yo can do it from the applet in the control panel.

Hope this helps.
