Guys...my friend has created a wall using model in place under wall category. i had assigned material for the wall as concrete hatch and green color hatch for my cut pattern but in my plan it becomes solid black but when im in editing mode it shows the hatch pattern as per what i have assigned for the material....it really bug me up. this model was passed to me and it was created using revit 2017 and upgraded to revit 2019...i have attached a screenshot..is there any solution for this ???
in edit in place
model mode
Sounds like the issue is with the materiel representation in edit mode. How do all the materials come across outside of editing mode?
...might it be the view's cut plane intersection?
hmm..other wall that have same material assigned doesn't become solid black...and i tried v/g override it remains the same...and can you explain what do you meant by material representation.
okay, now you are confusing me: A LIKE? I don't deserve a LIKE yet. Maybe @ToanDN does since he breathed on this thread, but not me.
My thought was that this might be view range related: perhaps your Cut Plane is hitting on a "sweet spot"? Move it backward or forward and see.
hahaha..sorry i "liked" because you are trying to help me just as appreciation.....sorry to confuse you... i tried changing the cut plane...currently it was 1900mm then i tried lower down to 1500mm and the result is negative....still the solid black doesn't change...and i tried to higher up the cut plane to 2500mm still same...and when i tried to use a filled masking region why it doesn't mask the model??
@mamu135 - What fill pattern is it that you have set for the cut pattern? Can you look at it, possibly switch between Model and drafting patterns to see if it makes a difference? Possibly play with the scale? It could be that the fill is at too small a scale, changing the scale would make it appear correct.
