Using Family Parameters as Labels

I have created a drawing template in a rfa file and i have added labels where the information on the template needs populated. The labels are linked to shared parameters from project files, so when the template is inserted into project files all of the labels/parameters are apparent in the properties dialog box when the sheet is selected/highlighted.

However i want to be able to embed the the parameters for the template within the family file. Doing this isn't a problem and i have managed to add the parameters i need for the drawing template into the family parameters. When i have came to update the labels in my drawing template they are always looking for the shared parameters.

Is there a way to get the labels to link/look for the family parameters??

Since you posted 5 hours ago and didn't get any answer so far, I volunteer to point you in some direction so that you can change your question and help everyone understand what it is you want to do. The best thing I can do is just to explain some terms and if you use them well, you can do your best to try and explain the issue.

.rfa is a family file extension. A family is not a template. It is a family.

.rte is a template file extension. A template is a template. It contains families.

.rvt is a project file extension. Yes, a project is a project and contains families. It can be started by using a template file (.rte).
