Using 3D-views on sheets

Is there a way to place a view on multiple sheets? For example, I want to have a 3d-view of the building on the Floor plan sheets. (maybe as part of a sheet). there is a way by making duplicate views, but in my opinion there will be a lot op duplicate views then.

are there any other solutions/ ways to solve it?

thanks in advance

Make them with Duplicate as Dependent. It's no big deal to have a lot of them, you'll only ever have to change the parent and they'll all change accordingly, and in the project browser they'll all be subordinate to the parent view, which you can collapse to hide them, so they aren't cluttering up the project browser all the time.

I understand. for the current project it is only for 4 plans. but if you have bigger projects it would be annoying to have more duplicate as Dependant views. would be easier if you can use Camera/ 3D-views on multiple sheets.

But thanks for the answer!

Export the 3d view as an image or DWG and add it to the title block family.  It won't "live update" but any changes could be handled by a reexport of the 3d view and then an edit to the titleblock family.

Why would it be annoying to have more than 4?

It's no different if you have one duplicate or a hundred, No more work is involved.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Create an image of your 3D View ( export image file, or Print Screen from Windows, etc.)

Create a new Legend View--name it "3D View", or something.

Insert the Image in the Legend View.

Place the Legend on as many sheets as you like.
