Revit crashed a couple days ago and I've been working in a recovered version of the local file however when i've come to sync today it has given a error message saying the user name is not the same as the user who created the file.
I've tried opening a 2nd version of Revit changing the user name in option to match what the error message is saying (Robb) opposed to my company email I've tried to open the central model and save under new username and then sync local file to this but doesn't work.
I will lose a days work if I have to close Revit down to amend the user name in the local file which defeats the purpose
Any suggestions on how to fix?
Many thanks
Rob

FYI, the proper procedure for opening a workshared model is to create a new local from the central every time. Continuing to work in the local file as you did only makes things worse. You might be able to save your work by copy/pasting it into a newly created local file. Make sure to save the current local file in a secure location so you don't lose that work.
