Our engineering group works with AutoCAD Architectural 2016 with FactoryCAD add-on. Now we are required to import these files into Revit 2017.
Question: How can we accomplish this import process?
Your help is greatly appreciated,

Link them into Revit.
Insert>>Link CAD>>CAD Formats
Make sure that Positioning is set to Auto-Center to Center
Thank you so much for your valuable information. Engineering left out to inform important requirement.
The model must remain Revit native (with some intelligence if possible). Explode command is not useful because model becomes flat or disappears.
Additionally, management will explore the possibility of purchasing a translation tool if existing. Do you know of any?

Revit 2017
Engineer used LINK instead of OPEN (IFC format was not offered in the open format menu).
Then, BIND Link followed by and Remove link, and SAVE as RVT format.
They will send the file to customer for evaluation and acceptance.
PS. Apparently, engineering had exported IFC files, but never import/open/link into Revit. They learned something new.
Thanks Again.
