I have uploaded chair into my Revit project but the component is stuck inside a box. How do I remove the box around the chair? I can see the chair when I hover over it. It's the same way in 3D. It is not the detail level, I've tried that.
Have you edit the family and see if there is masking region add to the plan and elevation? Also does the family has nested family? If that isn't the issue, please upload the family file.
Is it a Revit element or an imported element from another program, such as Sketchup?
Just upload the family and let us take a look.

What is the authoring program? BIMObjects is just a marketing site, not an authoring site. Whatever. You might be able to explode it in the family. Have you tried that?
Set the view to Fine, or VG and set Furniture category to Fine, or open the family and delete the box and set the actual chair geometry to be visible in all detail levels (coarse, medium, and fine).
