Updated Multi-Panel Window Families

Hello,

It would be great to have updated families for the typical contemporary window types that are so common in the industry. Specifically a fixed bottom panel with a top casement window combination. I understand this can be done with shared parameters and combining the window units, but it never works well with the schedule and it's a massive amount of background tasks to produce a result that it's not even accurate (head heights, sill heights, rough openings don't seem to translate accurately into the schedule or the family).

The revit window families usually work best since they are light and are not bloated like manufacturer's window models. I believe this would be a very helpful window family to retrieve from the cloud library.

You can always make one. Autodesk would never be able to make an all-inclusive library of families. But they gave us the tools to make what we need.

There's family in the Autodesk library with a lower casement and upper fixed upper panel. You could simply modify that so they're flipped.

Thanks for your response — I understand these can be created with time and effort. My point is that this isn’t a straightforward task.

These are industry-standard window types, and since the library is now cloud-based, it seems like a relatively simple update to include them.

Being user of revit and archicad, this is something in which archicad is superior!
