Unwanted cut in curtain wall

I am working with some vertically slanted curtain walls.

As seen in the attached screenshot, one column of them has a weird cut to it.

I am deleting it, and placing it again. Not working. Also the issue is on every level, in that exact column.

What is happening?!

Show some elevation screenshot on how the curtain wall look like? Is there any plan region hidden in that area? Activate your bulb icon if there is plan region hidden. Thanks

There is nothing hidden beside some demolished walls.

Looks like it spazzed out.   Technically speaking.  Smiley (zwinkernd)

Got some other views for us to look at?

Can you show a 3D view of the area?

Hi @Ramina_B

Could there be an existing demolished wall in that location?

Yes, there is a demolished wall in that place. But can that be a problem?

Hi @Ramina_B

Yes unfortunately the wall still exists so it interferes with new walls.

I always model existing conditions and new construction in separate files for this reason.  but it is probably a little late to make a change like that.

What Phases do you have in the project and what phase was the trouble-making wall created and demolished?

Unfortunately it's very late in the project to seperate them. I can use some lines and regions in 2D, but it looks terrible in 3D...

I have 2 phases, one for the existing and one for the new.

I would suggest splitting the line of the existing wall at the intersection point and see if that helps.  If not then you might want to disallow joins.  generally try to resolve the issue by editing the existing rather than the new.  That way masking regions and annotations can be used to tidy up the existing and the new can be modeled correctly

I will try to split the existing wall!

Actually I tried disallow joins, and that helps some places.

Thank you!
