Unresolved .rcp in Revit Lt

Hi,

Anyone who knows how to point to the linked *.rcp-file in REvit Lt? I'm trying to open a Revit project with a point cloud, but Revit is looking for the rcp-file in "wrong" path and I would like to point out the right directory. But because Revit Lt don't allow to attach point clouds I don't either have the ability to point out the right path.

Hi, I assume you are opening a file from Revit which had a Point Cloud file attached as if i recall Revit LT does not support Point Clouds directly.

If this is the case the Revit will show a Revit file with a Point Cloud from a FULL version of Revit if it is attached to the file if not the only way you can get this to work is to place the .RCP file into the File Path referenced in the Unresolved References dialogue (as per the first image you attached) it should show up then in LT

Ok! So I can't point it to a new directory? (Ah, if I think so is this obvious. Otherwise I could connect another pointcloud of course...)

Pretty much!   As LT does not allow Point Clouds the option is not there but it will find it if it was once linked and the File Path is correct

No problem, If you are able to place it in that location listed in the dialogue you should be good to go.
