Have you tried clearing your local cache files? Sometimes a corrupt cache file or too little hard drive space can cause this.
actually the file is opening for others but not for me. What can be the reason ?
I'm assuming you tried restarting your computer as well?
Is your computer different from others who can open the file?
Are you working on a different build of Revit (2020.2.8 is on your machine. Does this match the other machines that are opening it fine?)
Do you have the latest Autodesk Desktop Connector version? https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/desktop-connector/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/ENU/...
Have you tried Open and Audit?
Are you able to open other projects from BIM 360?
There is an update for 2020 that you could try as well. (https://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2020/ENU/?guid=RevitReleaseNotes_2020updates_2020_2_9_html)
This is a month-old so maybe the issue was resolved? if so, how?
This could have been caused by a corrupt cache of the Desktop Connector, or a linked model that other team members are not loading, which is why they can open the model.
To clear the connector cache, go to This PC > Autodesk Docs, and right-click on each hub you see listed there to free up space. Sometimes you get an error msg saying you can't, and you have to reboot then try again.
You can also try opening the model with 'specify worksets' and closing them all to see if you can open the model that way. If you succeed, then open one by one.
There are three cache folders to clear out within your profile AppData > local > Adsk > Revit:
- PacCache (personal accelerator): delete all the folders but leave the Logs and JSON file.
- Inside the Revit <version> delete the CEF cache and rename (or delete if you don't want to preserve old local files) the Collab cache.
