Universal Void Form

Hi! Is there any way to create a void that automatically cuts through all types of objects (arch, struct members, etc.)? I would use this void as a wall reveal since the default revit wall reveal only just cuts through arch walls and in my project I have struct columns and beams modeled in the project.

Yes. Create the void as a face based family, precut the solid with the void, load in project and host on a face of anything to cut.

I don't think you can cut through structural members using voids.

What I want is a void sweep that automatically cuts through any object w/o actually using the cut geometry tool. That means if I delete the generic model(sweep), the cut also disappears and I don't have to permanently cut through several objects. Something like a opening type of object/family that cuts through everything.

Yes. A face based void does exactly that.  No needs to cut geometry when you host it on a structural member or anything else.

https://youtu.be/6skqVTD25IY. I did make one using the method used on the link, this time it did cut the struc column but it won't cut the adjacent arch wall since I think it's only supposed to cut one host. I'm not sure though if you have the same approach/method as the one showed in the video.

That is correct. Place it multiple times in multiple hosts to cut them all.

So, you're still looking for that "Universal Void Form" that will "automatically cut through all types of objects  w/o actually using the cut geometry tool"

Try Staples.  They got this thing called the "Easy Button".  Might work.
