Units confusion

Hello,

I have a little confusion about units, it'd be kinda dumb question but I gotta try.

If I'm working a project in Meters, and if 0.1m it's 10 cm, 0.01m it's 1 cm and 0.001 it's 1 mm, what's 0.0001m?

Thanks for answer!

Hi @curtisridenour , how are you?

Yes, I know. I guess I wasn't clear with my question. I want to know what metric unit it's that. We got Meters, Centimeters, Milimeters... but what metric unit is 0.0001 m?

Why not just look it up on a search engine? This is kind of an odd question to ask here. Someone might know but it'd take two seconds to just look it up yourself.

@mhiserZFHXS why not just ignore this question and mind your own business if you don't have the answer? 😉

@mhiserZFHXS is correct and he was courteous in his response. No need to be rude.

Hi, if I'm making the question here is because I can't find it in Google. My question is not about converting something, is about this:

If I'm working my project in Revit, in Metric Units, and you call 0.10 m = 10 CENTIMETERS, 0.001 m = 1 MILLIMETER, how do you call 0.0001 m?

Sorry if I looked rude, wasn't my intention.

From the Jedi Archives (Google)

Micrometer A micrometer (also called a micron) is 1000 times smaller than a millimeter.

1 millimeter (mm) = 1000 micrometers (μm).

A nanometer is 1000 times smaller than a micrometer.

I'll add...Revit won't let you draw something 0.0001 meters long anyway...

Here is a chart listing the naming for metric systems.

0.0001m would be equal to 100 micrometers. There is no deci- or centi- equivalent.

It's still a metric unit. Like a tenth of an inch is still an imperial unit.
