Unique family ID in different assemblies

Hello! I'm a student and I am currently trying to solve an issue with numbering for scheduling and tagging on sheets.

What I'm looking for is a way to assign both walls and families in an assembly with unique numbers in that assembly. Say for instance that I want to have the same type of screw in two different assemblies but in the schedule I want to assign them with different ID numbers. At the moment I have used Type Mark to number the screws, but of course if I change the number in one assembly it changes in the other one. Does anyone have a solution on this problem or is there an easier way of doing this?
Note: This must also work on walls etc.

A "Type Mark" is exactly as the name says a mark per type.

If you want a mark per instance use the instance parameter "Mark"

I don't like to use the built in Mark parameter but instead create my own instance ID parameter.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Thanks! That did the trick.
