I have a simple family of boring equipments as sub families with little twist in detail to differentiate themselves apart, using parameters.
Problem is when I create a new parameter, this parameter will appear across these equipments, so I have to go unclick every subfamilies. Is there a way to unclick all of them at once, or something I missed ? Forgive me if this been answered before.

Sounds like you are creating a Yes/No Parameter and its default is checked for all the Family Types, but you want it unchecked. If so, type "1=2" into the Formula Field of the Parameter and hit Apply. Now remove the Formula and check the box for that one Family Type.
Thank you so much.
You save me hundred of clicking, considering I have about 25 sub families with 25 little associated details.
That s 1=2 trick, ![]()
You're welcome, but the idea here is to mark the post that actually provides the solution as the Accepted Solution - not the post that thanks the author for providing the Accepted Solution. Get it?

Thx.
I wonder what happens if I enter "1=1" ?
You can answer the question by determine if the equation is TRUE or FALSE.
1=1 means TRUE so the box will be checked. (it can be 0=0, 2=2, 1>0, etc...)
1= 2 means FALSE so the box will be unchecked (same as 1=0, 1<0, etc..)
