I have many view templates and a 3rd party add-in introduced a new sub-model category (it is a sub to generic models category).
I only need to show it in one type of view. But it is checked on in all templates. So short of going into every view template and un-checking this, is there a way to check/uncheck something in all or in multiple view templates?
I have Revit 2022. I kind of want to do something similar with the new 2022 model categories (for example, set all "vertical circulation" to half-tone in all templates etc.)
Interesting. So, the way I read it, is that you have so many View Templates that it is too much work to modify them one a time to untick a subcategory - so you are looking for an automated way to do it? I'm thinking Dynamo for this.
Thanks. That was my fear thee is not a direct way.
Normally I don't make many changes in templates, and mostly specific to one template.
The problem just came up since Revit 2022 introduced new categories and the 3rd party sub-category. Maybe the new categories don't matter since I don't have equipment in them anyway.
I also use sub-categories for clearance zones I show and those I only want to show in specific templates and not in most. but by default they seem to be turned on.
