unable to export to IFC

Hi,

I am having a problem with exporting my revit file into IFC.I have already downloaded IFC for Revit 2016. I click on export to IFC and I can see the window opens, because I can see it when I move my mouse on top of the Revit icon, however it does not show on my screen. I tried to uninstall and install IFC for Revit and it is still not working.

This is the first time I am having this issue as previously I was able to export to IFC with no problem.

Possibly previous dual monitor?

 

You might try the following:

-Update drivers graphics card.

-Update Revit.

-Remove other, possibly conflicting, add-ins from Revit

-Reset settings to default.

 

If you have an NVIDIA card, sometimes NVIDIA Desktop Manager has caused problems
Disable the Nvidia Desktop Manager: 
-Right click on desktop  and select nView properties

-Select "Desktop Management" tab.

-Under "nView Desktop Manager", select the "Disable" button.

As the first step can you confirm if you've installed the latest updates for your Revit version?

The problem ended up being dual monitor....
