Unable to edit the label in view title

I want to enter the scale in the box under the view title line but I'm unable to select it to edit it and I am unable to find it in the properties. I know that the box has the parameter of View Scale as I checked by trying to edit the view title family. How do I go about this?

This might seem like a stupid question, but I've just started learning Revit so any help would be appreciated.

First you need to change its type to one with scale.

When you  select it, look at the properties palette and use the drop down type menu on top to select the other type. If it’s not there create one and check the visibility of scale parameter
