Hello,

I noticed that some families (downloaded) does not allow the user to delete or edit elements (all kind of elements: solids, dimensions, lines, reference lines and planes, connector elements, nested families etc.).

I can't deleteI can't delete

Does anyone know how it can be done and how to undone this?

Not being able to open an RFT directly and not being able to delete the content from an RFA are completely irrelevant.  How can you lump them together is beyond me.

Do you want to contribute or not? I'm good either way. I'm not interested in playing the semantics game though.

The title of this thread is "Unable to edit family". Do you have a workflow to suggest that will enable the delete function for existing elements in the OP's family?

I already did in my first reply, telling the reason why it's not editable.  Not everything can be solved.  I am not interested in playing any game with you either.  Don't be self important.

Thanks for the explanation. Since we can not hide Connector Elements I'll create a new family to nest this problematic one and then I'll place Connector Elements.
