Greetings,

I am trying to fix a Legacy issue where some information does not seem to load into the project properly; which leads us to usally manually typing out repetative infomation for each page leaving room for potential error. what step do i need to take to fix this issue? does my issue reside in the ".rte" of the ".rfa" file source?

"Legacy issue"? "Some information does not seem to load"? "Manually typing out repetitive information"? Can you put some meat on the bones here? I have no clue what you are talking about.

are you using shared parameters? you must associate them to project parameters

When I mean by some legacy issue they are just issues that we had in house that were not addressed for a while and it was something the company had to deal with for years. I am trying to recreate some labels through shared parameters so that information on our title block will be updated to the sheet space without having to update each page constantly. the steps should be straight forward as Im working in our ".rte" file>create tab> label>.......assign the perameter> then upload, then I would circle back to the main project extension, I wont see any changes from the template.

when setting a parameter for drawn by: or checked by:, I want those values from that information to repeat to the rest of the sheets, I just want to  know if there's a way for the parameters to update with the rest of the sheets while having the ability to edit when needed, it just does not seem to be working for me.

Create project parameters from your shared parameters (that you are using for labels) and assign them to the project information category.

Huh? Changing the rte (project template) will have no effect on an existing project created from that rte.  Is that what you are thinking?

Additionally, Shared Parameters are shared by virtue of there GUID - not there name.  And, for Parameters to be Shared, they must be from the exact same Shared Parameter Text File.

...so bottom line is: if you want to change a bunch of existing parameters that are pulled into the Project from different locations, then you need to modify each/every parameter individually at its source.
