Two kind of different elevation tags in one project

Is possible to use two kind of different elevation tags in one project? For example:

Exterior Elevation Tag.jpgInterior Elevation Tag.jpg

I like to use left one for exterior elevation and right one for interior elevation.

It  seems only one elevation tag can be use in one project. Is it correct?

Thanks!

Willie

You need to create different elevation types and each type using a different symbol. To put the view name inside, just edit the pointer family and move the label.

If you open the Callout family in revit, you can save it with a different name and load it. You will also want to do this with the Head family (Arrow). once you redefine them to look like whatever you want, you can assign them to be Interior vs Exterior like my example below (we did this for plan vs detail callouts as well):

OK, I have different interior and exterior elevations that I have used in another project but I can't seem to get these to work in a new project. I have different families made for interior and exterior but when I try to switch one to use a different pointer they all change. What am I missing. I have done this before but I can't get it working now.

Select the tag, In the properties pallet, go to edit types. Create a type for Interior and another for Exterior. In each select the different head or symbol you want to use.
